In most cases you should be able to connect to the internet for the first time by simply resetting your modem/router. But sometimes it may not work, so if you have a D-Link Modem, follow these steps and you should be up and running:
Step 1 Type in 10.1.1.1 in your browser
Step 2 Enter default username and password for the modem
Step 3 Under Home Tab click on Run Wizard
Step 4 Follow the Wizard and Click Next
Step 5 Select the Time Zone
Step 6 Select PPPoE
Step 7 Enter in your username and password
Your username is your Flip account number with @flip.co.nz added to the end as below, and the password was the one you chose when you signed up with us. This information will be in the welcome email you received from us.
Step 8 Enter what you want the wireless connection name to be. No need to change the channel
Step 9 Select WEP enabled
Step 10 Set up is complete, you will need to restart your computer now
You are all ready to start browsing the internet.
